What this site is
DriveAwayPrice publishes what a new car costs to drive away, worked out from figures that are already public: the carmaker's list price, the taxes and duties that apply, and the charges a state adds. Each page says where its figures came from and the date they were checked.
It is published by Dealadesk Pty Ltd, in Queensland, Australia.
The figures are correct on the day they are checked
List prices change, taxes change, and a state can change a duty with a week's notice. Every page carries the date its figures were checked, and a page checked in March is a statement about March.
A drive-away figure on this site is an arithmetic result, not a quote. Nobody is offering to sell you a car at it, and no dealership is bound by it.
It is not advice
Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing here takes account of your circumstances. If a figure matters to a decision you are making, check it against the carmaker and your state's own published rates.
Sending an enquiry
Sending an enquiry commits you to nothing and costs nothing. It is not an offer to buy, it is not an order, and it does not reserve a car.
It commits us to nothing either, beyond what the privacy notice says we will do with it.
Our pages
The words, tables and figures on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote a figure with a link back to the page it came from. Republishing a page, or a substantial part of one, needs our permission first.
Where a page carries a photograph supplied by a carmaker, that photograph is used under that carmaker's own press terms and is not ours to license on.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Everything above is subject to that.
